Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Supaling, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Supaling", "we", "us"). By using supaling.com you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What Supaling is

Supaling is a language learning service. It builds interactive study material around videos, gives you an AI tutor to talk with by text and voice, and tracks the words and grammar you know so quizzes, reviews, and speaking practice adapt to you.

2. Your account

Some features require an account. Keep your sign-in details secure, and give us accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Supaling.

3. Plans, billing, and renewal

Supaling offers a free plan and a paid Pro subscription. During the current beta, Pro features are available at no charge. When paid subscriptions are active, the price and billing period are shown at checkout, payments are processed by Stripe, and your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. If a payment fails we may retry it, and we may suspend paid features until payment succeeds. Access to paid features begins as soon as your payment is confirmed.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then. We do not prorate or refund partial billing periods. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of the charge and we will review it and refund where appropriate.

5. AI-generated content

Translations, explanations, tutor conversations, exercises, and feedback on Supaling are generated by AI. We work hard on quality, but AI output can contain mistakes. Double-check anything you rely on for exams, work, immigration, or other consequential decisions.

6. Third-party video content

Some videos on Supaling play through YouTube's embedded player. Those videos belong to their creators and your viewing is also subject to YouTube's terms of service. We do not host them and do not claim any ownership of them.

7. Your content

You own what you submit to Supaling, including messages, notes, and voice recordings. You give us permission to store and process that content in order to provide the service, for example transcribing a recording to give you pronunciation feedback, or keeping conversation history so your tutor remembers you. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle this data.

8. Acceptable use

• Do not use Supaling for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm others.
• Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the service.
• Do not resell access, share paid accounts, or circumvent plan limits.
• Do not attempt to misuse the AI features to produce content unrelated to language learning that violates these terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Our property

The Supaling software, design, branding, and the study materials we generate are owned by Supaling and protected by intellectual property law. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use them through the service for your own learning.

10. Disclaimers

Supaling is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that AI output will be accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Supaling will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or 50 US dollars if you have paid nothing.

12. Ending or changing the service

You can stop using Supaling and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may close accounts that are inactive for an extended period or that violate these terms. If we discontinue a paid feature you have paid for, we will refund the unused portion of your subscription.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material we will give notice on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Supaling after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules.
